Sell Lenovo A3000
If you’re looking for an affordable 7-inch phablet, consider the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000. With the A3000, you get an affordable device without losing quality. The A3000 comes with an excellent IPS screen, which offers impressive viewing angles. Compared to the A1000, the A3000 is faster thanks to its MTK 8125 1.2GHz four-core processor and 1GB RAM. This tablet can handle multitasking capabilities and gaming as well.
This Android tablet, like its contemporaries, comes with a built-in WiFi card, Bluetooth connection, and 16GB of internal storage. The storage is expandable up to 64GB via MicroSD storage. The battery life is average, lasting around 7 hours of normal use and two weeks in standby mode.
The device comes loaded with Android 4.1; however, it can be updated to the most recent Android OS 4.2. In general, the A3000 is a well-built tablet for the price; it does have a few small flaws.
Since its 2013 release, Lenovo has upgraded its tablet lineup significantly. You would be missing out on several advanced features if you still use the A3000. Thankfully, you can easily upgrade your experience by swapping your A3000 for a more recent tablet listed on Gizmogo. You can also sell your A3000 or any used tablet you own.
Lenovo A3000 specifications
Design info: The device is available in two color options, black or white. It weighs 350 grams, which means you can’t operate it comfortably with one hand. The chassis is built to last. It does feel like it can take the punishment of daily use and the occasional drop.
The device has a textured back that makes it easy to grip. At the top of the tablet, there’s a micro-USB port (with USB hosting) and a headphone jack. On the right side, there is a power button and volume control.
The A3000 speakers are not great. It can barely produce enough sound to fill a room. So you shouldn’t count on it for entertainment during a small party or personal listening.
Capacity info: The A3000 is equipped with an internal memory of 16GB and 1GB RAM. The storage space is expandable thanks to the dedicated microSDXC (dedicated slot).
Size & weight info: The device measures120 x 194 x 11.1mm and weighs 350g. I would say that the device’s weight is appropriate for its size. This is a phablet, after all.
Display info: The IPS screen has a resolution of 1024 x 600. As expected of an IPS screen, the A3000s display has decent viewing angles and a tolerable brightness level. However, the display’s color reproduction is a little dull, and the screen appears grainy.
That said, you will enjoy watching movies on this screen. It can serve a family or a group of friends thanks to its decent viewing angles. Also, you will enjoy reading or viewing images on the screen. Some users argue that tablets are made for reading and writing or performing activities that are difficult on mobile. If you agree with that philosophy, then you will enjoy the A3000s display more than most people.

Camera info: The A3000 sports a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera and a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera. On paper, the cameras don’t look good. So we didn’t expect much from them. In practice, the front-facing camera was barely enough for video conferencing, with abysmal performance in less-than-ideal lighting.
Pictures from the rear-facing camera performed better inside and out of intense light compared to the front-facing camera. Furthermore, Lenovo’s own camera software is surprisingly feature-rich, with many settings, facial recognition, and built-in HDR.
Chip info: The A3000 features a quad-core 1.2GHz MT8389 processor with 1GB of RAM. The chipset scored 1,075 in a multi-core test on Geekbench. When browsing the web, moving from program to app, or viewing HD video, the overall experience is rather smooth, as long as you don’t have too many apps open at the same time.
Battery info: Unfortunately, the A3000’s battery life is another area where it falls short. Even Lenovo rated it for just seven hours of WiFi web surfing on a single charge, and we’d say it’s closer to six if you intend on doing more demanding activities like streaming HD video or playing games.
So you have to carry a charger with you when you step out of the house. Alternatively, stick to basic functions to conserve battery until you get home.
