Sell ONEPLUS 2

The OnePlus 2 was one of the early Android devices released by the company. It was designed to be a strong choice for customers looking for an affordable yet powerful unlocked Android smartphone. The OnePlus 2 offers high-end performance at a low price without compromising on design. At $330 for the entry model or $390 for the 64GB version, it features a great camera, superfast octa-core processor, loud audio, decent display, and metal construction in a package that costs way less than you'd expect to pay for in a typical high-end phone.

It might not be on par with the recent OnePlus devices released by the market, but back then, in 2015, when it was released, it beat almost all Android devices within its price bracket in terms of performance. Unlike most Android phones, there were no overheating issues; the phone did a good job in most areas.

The OnePlus 2 was considered a catch, especially because of its price, but it wasn't without flaws. There was no microSD, no fast or wireless charging, and while the device's back cover could be removed, the battery could not.

The OnePlus is a thin device; it is not a big phone in terms of design, so it might not suit customers who prefer large devices. It weighs just approximately 175 grams which is considered an ideal weight for functional devices within its price range. You can easily fit it in your pocket and make use of it for long hours, even while on the go.

It's been five years since the OnePlus 2 was first released, so it is now hard to source. Where you will find it either new or used is on eBay. However, there have been so many other releases by the company since the OnePlus 2. So if money is not a problem, you can consider going for more amazing OnePlus devices like the OnePlus 9 Pro. If you are working within a tight budget, you can contact us at Gizmogo for the best deals on OnePlus devices. With us, you can sell your used OnePlus 2 for cash, or you can swap it for a newer OnePlus model subject to some additional charges. If you are interested to learn more about our services, you can call us today to begin.

OnePlus 2 Specifications

Design Info: The OnePlus 2 sports a sturdy magnesium alloy frame giving it a premium look and feel but not an overdone accent. The back of the phone has a texture called the Sandstone Black but feels a bit more like plastic when compared to the OnePlus One.

The entire front of the OnePlus 2 is dominated by the 5.5-inches LCD screen display with minimal bezels at the top and bottom for a slightly better screen-to-body ratio which is still far from stellar. Above the display, there is a selfie camera and a status LED close to the earpiece, along with discrete sensors. Below the display is the capacitive Home key with an integrated fingerprint scanner. A piece of gorilla glass 3 protects the front of the OnePlus; however, the screen is still susceptible to smudges from fingerprints.

OnePlus did a good number on the back cover of the OnePlus 2. As earlier noted, it feels like sandpaper, and this makes it easy to grip. The back cover is also removable and allows users to swap cards in the dual nano-SIM tray, but the battery is not removable. Besides the Sandstone Black version, it is available in other designs, including Bamboo, Rosewood, Black Apricot, and Kevlar.

You will find that the ports and connections of the OnePlus 2 are quite similar to the OnePlus One except for slight changes. The right side features the volume rocker and Power/Lock key, both made from metal. The buttons appear flushed and are not raised enough for easy access. The switch control button was first introduced in the OnePlus 2. It is located on the left side and aids active sound control.

On the top of the phone, you will find the audio jack and the secondary mic. The bottom is where the USB Type-C port is, and there is a grille on each side for the primary mic on the left and the loudspeaker on the right. The top of the phone is empty except for the 3.5mm audio jack.

Display Info: It comes with a 5.5-inches LCD screen with a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution, a 16:9 aspect ratio, and a 401 PPI density. The display of the OnePlus 2 is nothing over the top; it is just acceptable. The brightness level is okay, and the viewing angles are decent as well.

Camera Info: The OnePlus 2 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and a dual-LED flash with a 5-megapixel front camera. It has a capable camera; pictures are quite decent, especially when taken under great lighting conditions. The front camera also does a decent job of taking selfies.

Capacity Info: Like the OnePlus One, there are two storage options for the OnePlus 2. It comes in 16GB of internal space with 3GB RAM or 64GB of internal space with 4GB RAM. There is no microSD card slot.

Weight Info: Some customers consider the OnePlus 2 heavy because of its 175 grams weight, but its slim build makes up for it. In dimensions, it measures 151.8 x 74.9 x 9.9mm.

Battery Info: It is powered by a non-removable Li-Po 3300 mAh. On average use, the OnePlus 2 can last up to 10 hours following a full charge.

Audio Info: You will find the stereo speakers of the OnePlus 2 at the bottom of the phone. They are considered loud, and the audio quality is good. There is also a 3.5mm headphone jack for additional audio support.

Processor Info: The OnePlus 2 runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop), upgradable to 6.0.1 (Marshmallow). It is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 SoC with 4GB of RAM. It can handle everyday tasks without trouble. Multitasking and switching between applications are also smooth without lags. High graphic games can also run without any problem, although the phone can become very hot when played for a long session.

Water-resistance Info: It doesn't have an IP certification for water resistance, so it is not.
