I don't see my device on your list; how can I place my order?

If your device is not listed, place your order as an Unknown Device. Please review our list of accepted electronics to ensure your device falls into one of the classifications. Following our fee-free shipping, we will evaluate your device and send you a quote. If you choose not to sell, your device will be returned to you free of charge!

Do you accept old and damaged devices?

Yes! We accept a vast amount of different electronic devices regardless of condition. To find out how much your damaged device is worth, locate your device on our website, select your model, and indicate the condition to receive an instant quote. If it has any value, we will compensate you accordingly. Otherwise, we would recycle it responsibly for you.

You evaluated my device, and the payment amount differs from the quote I received when I first placed my order; what happened?

A: There are a few reasons why the quoted payment can change following our evaluation: You did not accurately select the condition of the device (most common). The device has defects that are not indicated on your order. You chose the wrong device or device model when completing your order. Our customer service team is happy to answer any additionalquestions about changes to your quote.

My device has had a case and screen protector since I originally purchased it, and you're trying to tell me it has screen scratches. Can you explain?

Screen Frame Backside USB Charging Port It is common for people to believe their phone is 'like new,' only to have a slightly different definition of the term compared to the industry standards.

My laptop isn't on your list; how can I determine its worth?

If you don't see your device on our list, email us at support@gizmogo.com for your free quote. Include the device brand, model, and serial number in your message. We will have our technician deliver an estimate within 24 hours.

Zelle and PayPal typically clear within one business day of us issuing payment.

What if I don't accept the revised offer?

Simply decline within the response window and we'll return your device at no cost to you. You're never locked in at any point in the process.

Getting a Quote

How do I get a quote?

Select your device, answer a few questions about its model and condition, and we'll generate an instant offer - no account required. The whole process takes under two minutes.

How long is my quote valid?

Your quote is guaranteed for 15 days from the date it's issued, as long as the device matches the condition you selected. Final pricing is confirmed after we inspect your device. If the condition differs from your description, we'll send a revised offer. If you choose not to accept it, your device is returned to you at no cost.

How many devices can I sell?

There's no limit. You can sell one device or submit quotes for multiple devices in the same session and choose which ones to proceed with.

What devices are not accepted via shipping?

Gizmogo does not accept CRT devices, office equipment, or household appliances for purchase or recycling.

Televisions cannot be shipped but are accepted for free recycling through in-person drop-off only. Please see the Drop-Off & Recycling section below for more information.

Shipping

Is shipping free?

Yes. Once you accept your quote, we email you a prepaid shipping label. You pay nothing.

Do I need the original box or accessories?

No. You can ship your device in any sturdy box with adequate padding. If you include accessories, make sure they're secured so nothing shifts in transit. Original packaging is welcome but never required.

How should I package my device?

Wrap your device in bubble wrap or soft padding, place it in a box with no excess movement, and seal it securely. For fragile items like camera lenses or drones, extra padding is strongly recommended.

How long does shipping and inspection take?

Most devices arrive at our facility within 3-5 business days using the prepaid label we provide. Inspection typically takes 1-2 business days after we receive it.

What happens if my device arrives in different condition than described?

We'll send a revised offer. You're never obligated to accept - if you decline, we'll ship your device back to you free of charge.

Can I sell a lost or stolen device?

No. Gizmogo does not purchase lost or stolen devices. If a device is flagged during inspection, it will not be paid for and may be reported to the appropriate authorities. If you believe there's been an error, contact your carrier to resolve the status before selling.

Data & Privacy

What happens to my personal data after I ship my device?

Every device is professionally wiped using certified data destruction software before it's resold or recycled. Your photos, accounts, messages, and apps are fully and permanently erased. Personal information is never shared with third parties. External storage is securely handled or destroyed when applicable.

Should I factory reset my device before shipping?

Yes - and this is important. Before shipping, please back up any data you want to keep, sign out of all accounts (including Apple ID/iCloud, Google, and Samsung accounts), disable Find My on Apple devices, and perform a factory reset. Gizmogo is not responsible for any data left on devices when they arrive.

What if I forgot to sign out of my accounts?

You can sign out remotely using your device's associated account portal (iCloud, Google, Samsung, etc.) If you need to retrieve any data still on the device, do so immediately. Devices are wiped as soon as they arrive and are ready for inspection. Once wiped, data cannot be recovered. Contact us at support@gizmogo.com as soon as possible.

Are certificates of data destruction available?

Every order includes an erasure report confirming your data has been securely wiped. For devices that are recycled rather than resold, a certificate of data destruction is available upon request. Contact our support team to arrange this.
