Sell LG G Stylo

Generally, one would expect a big-screen phone with a stylus to cost a lot of money, but the G Stylo proves otherwise. It is rare, though, to find a 5.7-inch device with a stylus to cost less than $200. Today, you can purchase the G Stylo for less than $100.

The stylus is the highlight of the G Stylo, like other LG Stylo smartphones, but in reality, the stylus only brings little to the table. It won’t be fair on LG to compare the added functionality of its stylus to that of the Samsung Galaxy Note devices, and that’s because the Galaxy S Pen offers a lot of additional features that other brands can only dream of, like the remote control feature that allows you navigate a presentation or take a picture using the pen alone from a distance.

Notwithstanding, the G Stylo has a stylus that functions and is outrageously affordable compared to its corresponding Galaxy Note. The spectacular performance of the Galaxy Stylus comes at an exorbitant price.

The G Stylus belongs to LG’s G-series which they began in 2012. It has gone through several changes and taken different directions since then. The G Stylo is a branch of this phone line that doesn’t stray very much from its lineage. Unlike the typical LG G smartphone, it is a Stylus device, but it has the LG G design at the core of its construction and can easily be confused for a flagship.

It was released in May 2015 at a competitively low price. It has a very durable battery, and despite the many ways that it is average or less, the G stylo is altogether a decent and reliable big-screen smartphone.

If you want to own a Stylus smartphone, then contact Gizmogo today. You can also sell your smartphone on Gizmogo for those who want to do that.

LG G Stylo Specifications

Design info: The LG G Stylo has the typical G-series design but is generally of inferior quality, not a flagship. More specifically, it is similar in appearance to LG’s flagship G4.

The G Stylo maintained the design precepts of the G-series in the way it was carved, its size, and hardware architecture. What’s different here is the quality of material used, but the plastic it flaunts isn’t bad at all, mainly because it offers better grip than we used to experience with the G phones.

The G Stylo is large at 5.7 inches, and its rectangular outline makes it look even more significant. It is wide too but not so heavy, at least not for its class of phones, and it is available only in black. Its bezels are pretty thin, and its back is nicely rounded.

The top bezel houses the camera and earpiece grille, the chunkier bezel below holds only the LG logo. The sides of the device are left bare, devoid of physical buttons. You’ll find them on the rear side, underneath the camera.

The micro-USB is on the bottom while the headphone jack is on top. The Stylus pen takes residence in a slot on top too. In essence, the G Stylo has a decent design.

The audio output from its loudspeakers is as good as the headphone quality. Volume is adequately loud.

Capacity info: Its inbuilt storage capacity is limited to 8GB or 16GB, depending on the version. The former has 1GB RAM and the latter 2GB. There’s room for storage expansion in both.

Size & Weight info: The size of the LG G Stylo is just a bit above average at 165g. It has dimensions of 155.7 x 79.5 x 7.3 mm.

Display info: What you’ll find on the screen is an HD 1280 x 720 resolution that offers 258 PPI, far from what you’ll find on LG’s flagship. This pixel density is low for its screen size, but the 5.7 inch IPS LCD is still decent. You’ll need to look closely to observe the little pixelation present. Images are not particularly sharp, and colors aren’t crisp, but their viewing angles are excellent. It has Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The included stylus is thin and straightforward. It is responsive and works well with the screen but has no intelligent feature, not even pressure sensitivity.

Camera and video recording info: The rear camera is 13MP, while the front-facing camera is 5MP. The rear camera, like other phones in the G-series, has laser-guided autofocus. It takes good pictures with enough detail that satisfy casual use. With adequate light, the camera will do a good job. Both cameras record 1080p videos.

Water-resistance info: The G-Stylo is not water-resistant.

Performance info: The G Stylo features a 1.2GHz quad-core processor – the Snapdragon 410 processor for mid-rangers. This processor is fast enough to take and execute day-to-day tasks and navigate the device smoothly.

Connection info: The smartphone comes with regular comms, including Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth, A-GPS, NFC, FM radio, and a micro USB port.

Battery info: The battery here is a removable 3000mAh capacity cell. It does a superb job running as it can keep the phone running for a full day.
