In the ever-evolving world of technology, one company stands both separately and atop all others. It is a symbol for the integration of accelerated computing and artificial intelligence: Nvidia. This is why, as Computex gears up for the much-anticipated Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang keynote address at Computex 2024, the industry is growing increasingly excited. To say the technology that will be unveiled at Computex 2024 will advance AI and computing would be a significant understatement. It will change our world. Naturally, you’re probably wondering what’s in store, so let’s talk Nvidia at Computex 2024.
The Nvidia keynote. A keynote that’s not just a highlight of the week. It’s an international event. Nvidia’s going to be the talk of the town (or at least the internet) at 7 a.m. ET/4 a.m. PT on 2 June. If you are a tech aficionado, you don’t want to miss it. Even if you happen to be out of town during the event, Nvidia has made it easy to attend the keynote virtually. All you have to do is stay home and head on over to Nvidia’s official YouTube channel. It’s going to be clear, it’s going to be clean, and (at least compared with Twitch video) it’s going to be ad-free. Twitch users – you’re out of luck this time.
In fact, along with the announcement that Nvidia Corporation’s CEO, Jensen Huang, would be delivering the closing keynote of the Computex Taipei 2023 conference, the company has been so quiet about what that keynote might include that it has ignited a new wave of speculation. Implicit within this proclamation about the company’s mission is the promise to invent AI future technologies that will change how we interact with our daily lives. From making the software controlling self-driving vehicles smarter, to using the same infrastructure that supports the recent ChatGPT ‘bot,’ Nvidia is not only part of this revolution in artificial intelligence, but is leading it.

In terms of AAA games and high-end GPUs, expect cool new graphics and gorgeous intricate visuals that immerse the players in the gaming universe.
I hear that the tech world is buzzing with rumours and innuendo about a new generation of Nvidia Blackwell series GPUs to be announced at some point this year. But with Nvidia, who knows? It’ll never be before Christmas.
Nvidia drops a PS5 gameplay trailer that appears to hint at an AI feature in games, and it couldn’t help but remind me of seven years ago, when this exact same section of an April Fools’ joke from Nvidia made me laugh out loud. The idea was that Nvidia had created a new AI-powered GPU specifically designed to bring new life to old games. It was ridiculous, but also an amazing tease. Seven years later, my knee-jerk reaction is to be interested. It’s incredibly cool that the joke has now crossed over into real-world technology. I want to know how Nvidia’s AI is going to change gaming next. I want to see a game world that actually feels like it exists, and behaves as I expect it to.
We’re all a little bit excited to see what sort of new hardware Nvidia might announce in its keynote. But what type of announcement is most likely from Nvidia? It’s the one that communicates a vision for AI-infused computing technology to enrich our digital and physical spaces. Yes, better GPUs are great, but that’s not Nvidia’s story.
The brain of an Nvidia is in its custom silicon, designed to be at the leading edge of AI and accelerated computing; both enthusiasts and professionals watch Nvidia’s moves because it wants to set the pace and trajectory for silicon in the world. Nvidia wants its GPU to power gaming, but also to power industries, to drive science, and to reshape the entire field of AI and machine learning.
Nvidia’s shift from being a company known for making graphics cards to a leader in AI and accelerated computing shows how far innovation can go with every leap. With every new focus, Nvidia not only moves the technology industry forward but reimagines what can be done. With Computex 2024, we stand on the precipice of history once again, on the edge of a conversation that will change the way we define a successful future with the help of accelerated computing and artificial intelligence.
Nvidia continues to drive anticipation of its events with the Computex 2024 keynote, with an industry willing to wait for news. From the next generation of hardware to the latest machine-learning computing, it’s clear that Nvidia is leading the charge into a future where anything is possible.
